Boston Fetch has been fortunate over our 10 years in business (more on that in the coming months!) to work alongside some of the most talented and compassionate dog handlers on this planet. Our staff of creative, kind, and knowledgeable Pet Care Professionals are the lifeblood of our growing business and the reason everyone of our furry clients are so happy to see us everyday!

This month we wanted to highlight one of Boston Fetch’s fastest rising stars, Finn Mackin. On May 10, Finn celebrated their one year anniversary as a Pet Care Professional working out of our Brookline office. They have become a tentpole for our young Brookline expansion and have worked with almost every single dog in our pack (don’t worry Coco - ya’ll will meet soon enough!) In fact, working with dogs wasn’t enough for Finn - last year they and their partner, Jas, adopted a new furry family member, Luna, from Last Hope K9! In addition to Finn walking most of the dogs in our pack, Luna has befriended almost every single one of them too. What a team!

In addition to walking dogs and pet sitting, Finn is expanding their interests into the field of dog behavior and training. With an educational background in psychology Finn is interested in helping dogs and their families address reactivity, establish healthy habits, creating good leash habits and building safe spaces. Whether on the trails of the Muddy River or on the sidewalks on Coolidge Corner, Finn is always putting to practice these ideals with our dogs. For Finn, a dog walk is not just a stroll around the block, it’s an opportunity for a canine to learn, play, reinforce good behavior, and make friends!
